Xeun Sourivong, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on August 25, 2024, at the age of 84. Born on February 6, 1940, in Laos, she found her greatest joy in the love she shared with her husband, Phoumy Sourivong, and their six children: Phonephet, Phonesavath, Banphasith, Phonethip, Phonepaseuth, and Phonesouk.
Xeun had a deep affection for gardening and unwavering commitment to her family. In America, she turned her passion for gardening into a profession, cultivating not just plants but a legacy of love and care. Her home was a sanctuary where she nurtured her 12 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and welcomed anyone in need with open arms. Weekends were a cherished time spent together, filled with laughter and togetherness.
Her life will be celebrated on August 31, 2024. Viewing will be from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m., with a cremation service following from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Forest Ridge Funeral Home 8525 Mid Cities Boulevard North Richland Hills, TX 76182. Xeun's memory, deeply rooted in kindness and love, will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched.
