Tye Everette Reed

Tye Everette Reed, 48, passed away peacefully on December 29, 2023, surrounded by family members. Tye was born August 4, 1975, to Douglas and Linda Reed in Irving, TX. 

Tye is survived by his wife of 21 years, Virginia Reed, twins Gavin and Gabrielle Reed, his sister Shannon Dommert, brother-in-law Shanon Dommert, sister Michelle Clark, and numerous nieces and nephews.  

Tye is preceded in death by father Douglas Reed, mother Linda Reed, Grandparents JT and Velma Reed and Grandmother Alice Nichols.  

Tye worked as an Industrial Product Distributor for the past 25 years. As a child Tye played baseball, basketball, and football. This is where his love of sports began. He married the love of his life Virginia on June 1, 2002. July 17, 2006, they were blessed with twins Gavin and Gabby. The love and passion for sports continued as he coached T-ball and on to coaching softball. He continued his coaching for many years. Tye loved football, most of all his 49ers. He would cheer on any opponent team of the Dallas Cowboys.
