Ruby "Katheryn" Anderson

Ruby “Katheryn” Anderson went home to the Lord on January 17, 2025, at the age of 91.

Katheryn was born on October 13, 1933, in Grapevine, Texas. She was the oldest of three children. She resided in Watauga, Texas for just over 30 years. She loved her family so much. She also loved her church, Shady Grove Baptist, which she was a member for over 50 years.

Katheryn touched the lives of all who knew her with her unwavering faith, kindness and dedication to her Church, family and friends. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Buck and Ruby Miller, her brother, William Miller, both of her husbands, Hubert Laymance and Tom Anderson, and her daughter, Darlene Ford. 

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her three children, Elaine Chesser and Brice Depriest of Comanche, Texas, Wayne and Rhonda Laymance of Watauga, Texas, Shelley and Andrew Curry of Azle, Texas, and all of her 11 grandkids, 11 great-grandkids, and 2 great-great-grandkids.
