Royce Lynn Hewitt, 74, of Euless, Texas, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2026, surrounded by the memories and love of those whose lives he touched.
Born on January 8, 1952, in Dallas, Texas, Royce was the son of William Mack and Nadene. His life was marked by dedication, perseverance, and the importance he placed on the people closest to him.
On May 12, 1977, Royce married Susan Kay Hittar in Fort Worth, Texas. Together, they shared years of memories and built a life centered around family.
Royce began his career with Cummins around 1980, beginning a long chapter of his professional life. His years of work reflected the commitment and determination that became an important part of the legacy he leaves behind.
Royce will be remembered by his family and loved ones for the life he shared with them and for the memories that will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Susan; his mother, Nadene; his father, William Mack; and his sisters, Lillian and Gaynell.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his son, Sam Hewitt, his daughter-in-law Katheryn, and his granddaughter Iris, along with extended family and friends who will forever carry his memory with them.
Though Royce's journey on earth has come to an end, his story does not. The love he gave, the lives he touched, and the memories he created will remain a lasting part of the family he leaves behind.
May his memory be a blessing, and may those who loved him find comfort in the moments they shared and the legacy he leaves behind.
