Peggy Joyce Langston was born on June 7, 1933, in Olden, Texas, and died May 1, 2023, in North Richland Hills, Texas. She earned a bachelor's degree from Howard Payne University in 1954, followed by a master's degree in English from the University of North Texas.  
  
She married Bob Langston, settled in North Richland Hills, and adopted their two children David and Alice.

After many years of teaching and traveling, Peggy finally retired at the age of 78 and spent the rest of her years enjoying family and friends.

Peggy was greatly loved and will be truly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents William and Mabel, her siblings Tommy, Geneva, and Shirley, and her Son in Law Joe McKittrick.
She is survived by her son, David Langston, and wife Cathy, and their children Andrew, Gabby, Peter, and Vincent. Daughter, Alice McKittrick and her husband Keith Putnam along with Alice’s children Stephanie Herrin and her husband Albert Mendez and their children Elizabeth Herrin, Addison Mendez, and Lucas Mendez; Dane McKittrick and his wife Emily and son Dawson.
