Pacita Tagorda Vera Cruz

Pacita Tagorda Vera Cruz, of Euless, Texas, passed away on Friday, July 19, 2024 at the age of 72.

Pacita was born on September 27, 1951 to Jose P. Tagorda and Prudencia Ragos Tagorda in Isabela,
Philippines.

Pacita, or Paz, as she was fondly known, was always incredibly driven and strong willed, no task was impossible. This was evident in her pursuing her BS in Accounting and continuing her education, eventually receiving her MBA. She worked for 29 years in National Food Authority in the Philippines, from which she retired.

She attended the Filipino American Alliance Church (FAAC) in Arlington, Texas.

In her free time, Paz loved to go shopping, watch Korean dramas and the Filipino channel. She was filled with life and laughter. More than anything, she loved to spend time with her family. Pacita was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many. Her caring spirit will be deeply missed by
everyone who had the opportunity to know and love her.

Pacita is preceded in death by her parents, Jose Tagorda and Prudencia Ragos Tagorda; siblings, Manuel Tagorda, Jose Tagorda Jr., Gregorio Tagorda, Mary Tagorda.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Boy Vera Cruz; daughter, Cindy Vera Cruz; sons, Jayson Vera Cruz and wife, Joy, Rocky Vera Cruz and wife, Mindy; sisters, Rose Tagorda Chua, Cornelia Tagorda; brother, Ramon Tagorda and wife, Lisa; grandchildren, Matthew Vera Cruz, Alexis Vera Cruz; nine nieces, eleven nephews; numerous other extended family members, and loving friends.

A visitation to honor Pacita’s life will be held on Friday, July 26, 2024 from 5:00-7:00pm at Forest Ridge Funeral Home. Her funeral service will be held the following day, Saturday, July 27, 2024 from 11:00-1:00pm at Forest Ridge. She will be laid to rest at Bear Creek Cemetery following the services at the funeral home.
