Oott Phetmano Sayarath

It is with deep sadness to announce the passing of Oott Phetmano Sayarath, a great father, husband, and friend to many. Oott was born on August 13th, 1971 in Laos, and passed away at his home in Texas on July 10th, 2026.

Oott battled state four gastric cancer for nearly four years. He put up a great fight, and strength knew no bounds. His battle was inspiring and was a testament to his resilience.

Beyond being a fighter, Oott had a 25+ year career as an IT engineer. He began his career in telecommunications and ended jn finance. He worked up until his last procedure weeks before he passed.

He is survived by his wife, two sons, two daughters, and two 4-legged grandkids. He is also survived by his mother and three brothers, sister in laws and brother in laws. He always provided for his family and ensured the home was filled with happiness. He loved golfing, cooking, and spending time with his loved ones. His impact lives on with his family and all of the lives he’s touched over the years.

Oott’s funeral service will be held on Saturday July 18th, 2026 at 1pm at Forest Ridge Funeral Home Memorial Park Chapel. We invite all who knew him to join us to celebrate his extraordinary life and honor his memory.
