Noy Phouthasak Bouaravong, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away on Friday, June 5 2026 at the age of 54.
He was born on November 4, 1971 in Savannakhet, Laos to Bob Bouaravong (Khamthan) and Amie Bouaravong (Inhta).
Noy was a great leader, mentor and friend. He could be described as “the one everyone counted on.” Always there to listen, provide advice, and never to judge. He was accepting of everyone and was willing to give you the shirt off of his back if it meant he could help you in even the smallest way.
He found joy in fishing, riding motorcycles, and playing guitar. His love for metal music often filled his home with energetic sounds, providing a backdrop to many family gatherings. Noy was also a fan of football, especially loyal to the Raiders, whose games he never missed.
Above all, Noy cherished his family, with whom he shared the deepest bonds and love. His presence as a husband, father, and friend was irreplaceable, and he will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 34 years, Sanay Phomvilay; daughter, melissa Bouaravong and Alvin Darapheth; son, Joshua Bouaravong; mother, Amie Bouaravong; sisters, Kathy Bouaravong, Deo (Iris) Boun; brother, Keovilay Phomasahn; grandchildren, Lyna Bouaravong, MelidaBouaravong, Reina Bouaravong; and numerous other family members and loving friends.
A funeral service will be held to honor his memory at 1:00pm on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at Forest Ridge Funeral Home, 8525 Mid Cities Blvd, North Richland Hills, Texas 76182 with a witness cremation ceremony to immediately follow conclusion of services in the chapel.
