Melissa "MeMe" Allen

Melissa “MeMe” Allen of North Richland Hills, TX was reunited with her Savior and her parents after passing in comfort on January 19, 2021, the day after her father passed. She was 54 years young. Melissa was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and daughter to a very close family. Her passion was her family and she enjoyed giving all of herself to the joy and happiness of her family. Melissa decorated our home and celebrated every person on every holiday and occasion with love and kindness and made every event special. It was in her heart to instill love and faith and she taught us all to celebrate and cherish one another every day.

Melissa’s second passion was the pursuit of excellence and training of others to the highest level of professionalism in her field of Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD) and Paramedicine. She worked for MedStar Mobile Healthcare for 21 years as the EMD QA/QI Supervisor after serving Rural Metro Ambulance and Apollo Ambulance. She also consulted with and for the International Academies of Emergency Dispatch where she was a Master Instructor.

Melissa is preceded in death by her mother, Pat “Nanny” Kestler and her father, Johnny “PaPa” Kestler of North Richland Hills. She is survived by her husband, Stan Allen, of North Richland Hills, daughter Johnna Geiger and Husband Bryan and their daughter Annabelle of Watauga, daughter Jerrica Kidwell and husband Chaz and their children Abryelle and Dax of North Richland Hills, and daughter Kim Tyner and husband Chris and their children Kindall and Colton of Saginaw and Uncle Carl Kestler of Saginaw. She has many other nieces, nephews, and cousins that she all cherished. "I love you 5."
