Maurice M. Cleghorn

Maurice M. Cleghorn, 88, of Colleyville, TX, passed away on February 11, 2026 in Grapevine, TX.

Born March 27, 1937 in Anniston, Alabama, to Charles and Daisy Cleghorn. Maurice married Jackie Love Cleghorn on December 2, 1957, in Weatherford, TX. Together they built a life centered on family and hard work.

Maurice was the founder and CEO of Horn Paint Company, building his business from the ground up through determination and vision. He loved his family deeply and took great pride in their accomplishments.

Sharing his adventurous spirit with his wife, Jackie and Maurice traveled the world together and spent the last forty years scuba diving the most exotic coral reefs. He enjoyed bass fishing with his buddies and never passed up the thrill of a good poker game. 

He is survived by his beloved wife, Jackie Cleghorn; daughter, Cindy Adams and her husband, Phil Adams; son, Pete Cleghorn; daughter, Lisa Powell; grandchildren, Preston Lisenbe, Katie Adams, and Drake Powell; great-grandchildren, Blaire Lisenbe and Miles Powell.
