Mary Ellen Fielder Berry

December 20, 1930 – December 5, 2022

Mary Ellen Fielder Berry gained her heavenly wings at the age of 91 surrounded by her family on December 5, 2022. 

She was raised on a farm in Marvel, Arkansas with her 4 sisters and 1 brother.  As the youngest daughter, she helped cook for the family and farm workers and became the best cook ever - never using a recipe - she just cooked until it looked right.

Mary met her husband, William Berry, in Shreveport, Louisiana and they spent 56 years together in Fort Worth, Texas, raising their family.  She also worked at Sprad’s Ace Hardware and finally retired at 81 years young.

Mary is preceded in death by her husband, William and her grandson, Brian Berry.  She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children Bill and Nell Berry, Dot and Gary Fontana, and Verdie and Gabe Gonzales, along with her grandchildren Travis Berry, Tara Berry, Justin and Ashley Fontana, Chelsey Fontana, Jessica and Marcus Thompson, Amber Koontz and Justin Kieschnick and great grandchildren Zane Berry, Noah Fontana, Kaeson Fontana, Ryder Fontana, Layton Fontana, Mark Thompson, Landen Thompson, Harper Thompson, Emma Dangler, and Taytum Kieshcnick.

Visitation   Friday, December 9, 2022 at 6-8 PM.

Funeral   Saturday, December 10, 2022 at 12:30 - 1:30 PM
