Lisa passed peacefully surrounded by family on September 24, 2021

Lisa is impossible to summarize. She kept everyone laughing with her quick wit and playful humor. Lisa made a point to learn about and enjoy every hobby her husband and children enjoyed, which lead to her membership in many booster clubs and volunteer works. From weekends at the race track, soccer tournaments, marching band competitions, to Skills USA technology competitions, Lisa was her family’s biggest cheerleader.

Lisa is survived by her husband Anthony Simmons, daughters Miranda Simmons and Natalie Simmons, son Nicholas Simmons, stepdaughter Amie Varner, sisters Sarah Darr (Archie) and Suzanne Ban (Luke), Brother Ulysses Anderson, two grandsons, nine nieces and nephews, and six great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father Ulysses Anderson Senior and mother Bonnie Harrison.
