Judith “Judy” Bastin of Fort Worth passed away 3-14-22 after a short stay in the hospital. She is survived by her sons, Tracy and Todd Bastin who were by her side as she passed. Judy was 76 years old.
She is also survived by her sisters, Barbara Wendel of Waverly, MN, Margaret “Elaine” Stoen of Faribault, MN and Eudell Hamor of Joliet, IL. She had dozens of nieces and nephews who all loved her very much. She was preceded in death by her mother Stella Norton, sister Jackolein Kahler, father Milton Norton, husband Richard Bastin, brother John Norton, sister Agatha Pedersen and her twin sister Janice Neumann.
Judy was born in Austin, MN 5-22-45. She graduated Austin High School and went on to marry her husband, Richard. She served as an Army wife and mother, moving multiple times during their military career, before settling in Fort Worth once their service was done. She worked for Furr’s Family Dining for over 20 years, serving the Hurst and North Richland Hills community. She will be missed by all whose lives she touched.
Service will be held at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery on Friday April 8th at 9:30 am.
