Juan Manuel Espinoza

Juan Manuel Espinoza, age 75, of Dallas, Texas, passed away on January 26, 2026.

Juan was born on February 24, 1950, in Laredo, Texas, to Gregorio Espinoza and Maria Cantu Espinoza. He married the love of his life, Maria Guadalupe Espinoza, on January 16, 1976, and they shared 50 wonderful years of marriage. Juan was the fourth eldest of five children.

Throughout his life, Juan was a hardworking man who held many roles, including cotton gin operator, ranch tractor operator, long-time professional painter, and grocery store worker in his later years. His work spanned from La Mesa, Texas, to the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex.

Juan was preceded in death by his parents, Gregorio and Maria Espinoza; his brothers, Ricardo and Daniel Espinoza; and his sisters, Eloisa and Guadalupe Espinoza.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Maria Espinoza; his son, Juan Manuel Espinoza Jr., and daughter-in-law, Tammy Espinoza; his daughters, Brenda Espinoza and Michelle Roe, and son-in-law, Dale Roe. Juan was a proud grandfather to eleven grandchildren: Maribel, Juan III, Wendy, Leia, Lucas, Marissa, Nathan, Mia, Glenn, Evelyn, and Peter. And great-grandfather to five great-grandchildren: Santiago, Leo, Oswaldo, Masha, and Aithana. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Juan enjoyed the simple pleasures in life—sharing a good barbecue with close friends and family, watching his favorite westerns starring John Wayne and Clint Eastwood, and cheering on the Dallas Cowboys. Above all, he loved joking around endlessly with his family and bringing laughter to those around him.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 6, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Forest Ridge Funeral Home Memorial Park Chapel, located at 8525 Mid Cities Blvd., North Richland Hills, Texas 76182.
