John Andrew Evans

John Andrew Evans, 58, was born May 28, 1967, in Arlington, TX, to Charles and Muriel (Parks) Evans. John passed peacefully in his sleep on November 28, 2025. He was a loving and devoted husband to DeeDra and a loving and caring dad to Zachary and James.

John was a dedicated server at On the Border in Bedford. He was very passionate about music, the Dallas Cowboys, and the Dallas Stars. He was an accomplished guitar player and played in several bands over the years.

He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Evans Ill; his mother, Muriel Donne Evans; his aunt, Susanne Parks; and his grandparents, Vance and Thelma Lambert.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his loving wife, DeeDra Evans; his son, Zachary Parks; his son, James Evans, and his wife, Kylee. His brother Chuck Evans and his sisters Kelly Evans and Dawn Evans. He is also survived by his cousin Sabrina Parks; nieces and nephews: Ciara McKendry and Dante Shannon, Lindsay Ulrich, Jimmy Johnson, Reagan Parks, and Rhett Parks. His great-nephew, Jesiah Shannon, and great-niece, Arya Shannon, as well as many other family members and friends.

We find comfort in knowing that John's legacy lives on through the lessons he taught us, the love he shared, and  the memories we will cherish forever.
