Joe Stanford Obituary

Joe Mack Stanford, of North Richland Hills, Texas, passed away on April 15, 2025, in Grapevine, Texas at the age of 74. Born on February 6, 1951, in Fort Worth, Texas, Joe lived a life rooted in faith, family, and service.

A proud graduate of Brewer High School in White Settlement, Texas, Class of 1969, Joe went on to serve his country with honor in the United States Air Force from 1971 to 1974.

Following his military service, he dedicated 34 years of his professional life in the Fire Department at LTV/Vought/Triumph Aircraft, where he was known for his strong work ethic and commitment. Joe accepted Christ as his Savior and was baptized at Fellowship Church in Grapevine, Texas. His faith remained a guiding force throughout his life.

He and his wife of 54 years cherished their travels in retirement. He loved all things outdoors including camping, fishing, and deer hunting. His favorite time was attending all family activities including kids and grandkids sporting events.

Joe is preceded in death by his father Roy T. Stanford and brothers Jack Stanford and Jerry Stanford.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Dianna Boelens Stanford; daughters, Alysia Perales and husband Tom, Cindy Kue and husband Otis Cheyenne; Mother, Frances Stanford; Grandchildren, Alexis Perales, Leah Perales, Charlotte Kue, Olivia Kue; numerous other extended family members and loving friends.

Joe will be remembered as a loving husband, devoted father and grandfather, and a man whose heart was happiest when helping others. He greeted everyone as a friend and left an impression of kindness wherever he went.

The family extends their heartfelt thanks to all who offered prayers, support, and love during this difficult time.

His ashes will be interred at Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery for Veterans.
