Gloria V. Garcia

Gloria V. Garcia, of Euless, Texas, passed away on July 29, 2024 at the age of 90. Born on March 28, 1934, in El Paso, Texas. 

Gloria graduated from high school with honors, where she was recognized as an all Jefferson Girl and a member of the National Honors Society. She went on to build a notable career as a security specialist at Fort Bliss, Texas. She dedicated many years with top level security clearance and a member of an elite government security program at Area 51. 

She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church. Her hobbies included reading, working on puzzle books and enjoyed cooking authentic Mexican food.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Julia and Epigmenio Dominguez; her sister, Rebecca Roque; and brothers, Manuel, Alberto, Ignacio, and Jose Dominguez.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 67 years, Frank W. Garcia. Her daughter and son-in-law, Teresa A. Watt and Chris Watt; sons and their spouses, Frank W. Garcia, Jr. and Jeannie Garcia, David F. Garcia and Zulema Garcia. Her grandchildren and their spouses, David F. Garcia, Jr. and Brandi Garcia, Martin W. Garcia and Marlita Garcia, Andru Garcia, Nikolas Garcia. Her great-grandchildren, Cecilia, Elaina, Lola, Cruz, and Rami Garcia. Her nieces, Yolanda Puente, Patricia Hayslett; nephews, Antonio Roque, George Roque, Michael Roque, Victor Garcia. 
Gloria's legacy is one of love, devotion, and faith for her family and everyone she met. Her memory will be cherished and kept alive in the hearts of those she touched.

A memorial committal will take place at 11:00AM on Monday, August 12, 2024 at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas.
