Fleta Pearl (Alphin) Jones

Fleta Pearl Jones, 82, of Euless, Texas, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on April 27, 2021.  Fleta was born on June 30th, 1938 to Clarence and Sadie Alphin in Fort Worth. 

She married the love of her life, Jimmie Jones, on August 28th, 1953, and together they had four children.   Shortly after they were married, Jimmie and Fleta resided in Alaska for two years while Jimmie served in the U. S. Army.  Upon Jimmie’s honorable discharge in May, 1956, they moved to Fort Worth, Texas before moving to the Hurst-Euless-Bedford area in March,1967.  

Fleta worked out of her home for many years loving and taking such good care of many children throughout the years.  Later, she began serving others by cleaning their houses and becoming a sweet friend to all those she served.  She was a faithful member of Gateway Church, Southlake, Texas.

Fleta is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jimmie, her parents, her son Timmy and her brother, Clarence Alphin. 

Survivors include her children,Debbie Krause and husband, Lance of Fort Worth, Texas,  Jimmy Jones and wife, TJ of Andover, Minnesota and Richard Jones and wife, Melody of Euless, Texas.  Her sister, Glenda Paris and husband, Billy, of Weatherford, Texas, her brothers, Charles Alphin and wife, Vera, of Burleson Texas and Danny Alphin and wife, Jean of Crowley, Texas.  Fleta fiercely loved her family which included 5 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.  

Visitation will be from 10:00 am. to 11:00 am on Saturday, May 22nd at Forest Ridge Funeral Home, Memorial Park Chapel in N Richland Hills.  Celebration of Fleta’s life will follow at 11:00 am in the Memorial Park Chapel.
