Eleanor was born in Oil City, Pennsylvania, on December 21, 1928, and recently celebrated her 90th birthday with a party fit for a princess. Eleanor moved to Texas in 1952 with her husband, Rob, where she raised her family and quickly became the matriarch of the extended family and dear friends.
As we celebrate Eleanor’s life, we celebrate her love, her sharp wit, and compassion for others. Above all else, we celebrate her love for her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. Eleanor was the golden thread woven through the lives of her loved ones.
Eleanor was preceded in death by her husband Rob Clarkson, her mother and father, Pearl and Nathan Blauser, her sisters Dorothy and Twila, her brothers Ralph, Richard, and Carl. Her legacy of love and devotion to family will continue through her brother, Fred, and children Lorri Murphy, Jeff and Shari Clarkson, grandchildren Kari Gray, Justin and Sarah Gray, Travis Gray, Emily and JR Griffith, Jarrett and Sarah Clarkson, Elaine and Aaron Jackson, Ellen Clarkson, and step-grandchildren Erin and Wyler Burks, Ryan and Carley Lynch; great-grandchildren Gabriel, Alex, Adam, Anna, and Juliet; and dear, longtime friend Mona Holt.
