Doris Helen White, 91, entered into her eternal life in Christ Jesus on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 in Bullard, Texas.
Helen was born on March 16, 1934 in Midland, Texas. She graduated from Arlington High School in 1952. She married Charles Hollabaugh in 1951, and they raised their family in Hurst. She later married Bill White in 1976. After a short time near Weatherford, Texas, they moved to Cimarron, Colorado to build their log cabin in the mountains. They eventually moved back to Texas, and Helen spent the remainder of her life in the East Texas area.
Helen spent several years working as a licensed vocational nurse. She played the piano, enjoyed camping in a travel trailer, and loved animals of all kinds, especially her dogs. Her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought her much joy.
She is preceded in death by her father Foree Early, her mother Edna Mae Walker, and her husband Bill White.
Helen is survived by her daughter Cheryl Tabbert and husband Christopher of Anaconda, Montana, and her son Sid Hollabaugh and wife Carol of North Richland Hills, Texas. She leaves behind six grand-children, twenty-one great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild: Kelly (Charles) Flagg and children Ryan, Sarah, Allie, and Drew; Lauren (Jason) Iwen and children Caleb (Isis), Grace, Natalie, Penelope, and Isaac; Kimi (Jeremy) Elam, children Luke, Levi, and Amos; Alyssa Crawford (Alan Johnson), children LilyBeth and son Anston, Warren, Micaela, Elias, Larissa, and Evelyn; Jillian (Larry) Homen and daughter Meredith; Justin (Kayla) Hollabaugh, children Ransom and Phinehas.
Her funeral service will be held at CrossCreek Church in Colleyville, Texas on Monday, January 5, 2026 at 10:00am, with a graveside service to follow at Rowlett Creek Cemetery in Plano at 1:00pm.
