David Edward Sheely

David Edward Sheely, of Euless, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2026 at the age of 64.

David was born on August 8, 1962, in Atlanta, Georgia to Edward V. Sheely and Dorothy M. Sheely (Thompson).

He worked extensively towards his education, accomplishing his goal of graduating from Texas Tech in Lubbock, Texas and becoming a medical doctor. 

David attended Grace Community Church, where he found spiritual fulfillment and a community of faith that supported his dedication to helping others.

In his free time, he enjoyed walking, reading, and writing. His love for helping people extended beyond his professional life into every aspect of his existence. David's kindness and generosity touched the lives of many, and his legacy will continue to inspire those who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Honor Sheely; and mother, Dorothy M. Sheely.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 29 years, Shan Sheely; daughter, Care Sheely; son, Valor Sheely; father, Edward Sheely; and sister, Ginny Masson.
