David Wayne Farrell, 72, of Haltom City, TX, passed away on November 30th, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of quiet strength, steady love and a life lived with integrity and devotion to his family.
Born on November 2nd, 1953, he lived with a consistent grounded nature that made those around him feel safe. He did not need grand gestures to show his love; he showed it through consistency, reliability, and the countless ways he took care of the people who mattered to him.
He was a devoted husband to Kathie Farrell, his beloved wife of 45 years. Their marriage was built on faithfulness, quiet talks every night, humor and a bond that spoke louder than words.
He built a long and dedicated career in Accounting, ultimately serving as Director of Client Accounting for MHMR for 28 years. His MBA reflected not only his education but his strong work ethic, sharp mind, and commitment to excellence in everything he did.
He found peace and purpose in carpentry, creating things with care and skill. He was the cook in our home and took immense pride and joy in cooking and creating for his family and loved ones.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Farrell, his father, Bernard Farrell, and his brother, Steven Farrell.
He is survived by his wife, Kathie; his children, Heidi Domer, Kristy Farrell, Erica Reynoso, and Michael Farrell; his six grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and his niece Heike Johns, along with many others who loved him and were shaped by his life and his love.
