Cody Cole Obituary

Cody Zane Cole was a beloved husband, father, brother, son, and friend whose warmth, genuine spirit, and zest for life touched everyone fortunate enough to know him.

More than anything, Cody deeply loved his wife and being a dad. His family was at the heart of his life, and the love he had for them was unmistakable. He treasured the time they shared and took great pride in being a husband and father.

Cody had a way of making people feel welcome from the moment they met him. He was happy, fun, outgoing, and genuinely kind. He never met a stranger, and had a gift for making people feel like they belonged. To know Cody was to know his infectious personality, his humility, and the joy he brought into a room. He was the kind of friend people were lucky to have and he had many of them.

Cody loved all sports, especially watching Atlanta Braves baseball and OKC Thunder basketball. He loved music and enjoyed collecting baseball cards. He was especially close with his brother and deeply valued the friendships he built throughout his life. His circle of friends was large, but the love and loyalty he had for the people in his life were personal and sincere.

Cody lived with a enthusiasm for life. He found joy in the people around him, in the things he loved, and in the simple moments that became lasting memories. He was humble, genuine, and never needed to be the center of attention to leave an impression. His greatest gift was simply being Cody.

He will be remembered for his big heart, his easy laugh, his friendship, his love of sports and music. Most of all, he will be remembered for the way he made people feel welcomed, valued, and loved.

Cody leaves behind a family and a community of friends who will carry his memory with them always. His life was far too short, but the love he gave and the lives he touched will endure.

He was deeply loved. He will be deeply missed. And he will never be forgotten.

His legacy will live on through his wife Christine Elizabeth Cole, son Harvey Gene Cole, and daughter Gentry Clara Cole. His mother and father, LaPonna and Price Cole, and brother Matthew Cole. His mother-in-law, Pamela Jackson, brother and sister-in-law Jeremiah and Allison Jackson, niece Taylor and her husband Joshua Deutsch, nephew Parker Jackson, and many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law Joe Jackson.

A memorial service will be held on August 22nd, 2026, at 11:00 AM, with a reception to follow at Compass Church 2600 Hall Johnson Rd., Colleyville, TX 76034. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you please consider making a donation to The Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation in memory of Cody.
