Clyde "Stanley" McWilliams, 87, passed away on July 22, 2025, in North Richland Hills, Texas. Born on September 28, 1937, in Rayville, Louisiana to Clyde and Norfleet McWilliams.
Stanley served in the U.S. Army and following his military service, he established himself as a self-employed professional, demonstrating an enduring spirit of entrepreneurship and self-reliance. Stanley always had good advice available and a good joke at he wrong time.
Stanley was a member of the Richland Hills Baptist Church and the Arlington Heights Masonic Lodge.
Stanley is survived by his loving spouse, Judy McWilliams; his sons, Justin and wife Jo, Lance and wife Pam, and Scott and wife Linnie; grandchildren, Brandon and wife Aliye, Alex and husband Gracen, Logan and husband Hunter, Nickolas, Nash, Jax, Delilah, Casey, Murry; great-grandchildren, Lincoln, Harris, Hayden, Harley, Cannon, and Liam; nieces, Debra Decker and Kellie Decker; nephew, Ryan Decker; and his dear friend, Truman Shelton. He was preceded in death by his father, Clyde McWilliams; mother, Norfleet McWilliams; son, Jason McWilliams; and grandson, Michael Jason McWilliams.
A service to celebrate Stanley’s life will be held on Sunday, August 10th, at 2:00 pm at Feragne Villa, located at 755 Mid Cities Blvd, Hurst, TX. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, honoring Stanley's compassionate spirit and lifelong dedication to helping others.
