Clarence Harold Buck, aged 98, passed away peacefully on June 23, 2025, in Fort Worth, TX. Born on June 3, 1927, in Marion, Ohio, Clarence dedicated 43 years of his life as a brakeman for the B&O Railroad in Ohio, where his commitment and diligence were a testament to his strong work ethic.
A U.S. Army veteran, Clarence served honorably from 1945 to 1947. His time in the military was marked by a discipline and camaraderie that he carried throughout his life.
Clarence was a loving husband to his wife, Helen, of 72 years and a guiding force in the lives of his children, David (Patricia), Michael (Rebecca), and Kathy (Jerry). He was also a cherished grandfather to Rachel, Lindsey (Jeff), and Kyle, and a great-grandfather to Amelia and Penelope.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Sr. and Lura Buck; siblings Jesse, Velma, Cleo, Nellie, and Ruth. Clarence's family was his pride and joy, and his legacy of love and strength will live on through them.
An avid woodworker, Clarence also enjoyed reading about history, following the Cleveland Indians, and watching classic movies. His hobbies reflected his thoughtful and inquisitive nature.
Forest Ridge Funeral Home in North Richland Hills, Texas, is assisting the family during this time. Clarence's life will be celebrated and remembered for the profound impact he had on those around him.
