Christian Carlsen Obituary

Christan Carlsen, Age 56, passed away on February 17th, 2026. He was born on February 15th, 1970, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He was born to Cathy and Mike Carlsen, and had one older sister, Carren Carlsen. Christan graduated from L.D. Bell High School in 1988 and received his bachelor’s degree in military history from Texas A&M in 1992. He also earned an M.B.A. from the University of Syracuse. Christian worked as a senior member of BNSF’s automotive department and was an influential member of the industry. His personal time was often spent learning new things, regardless of topic, and he had a passion for cooking. He also was a lover of sports, especially soccer, and would always be caught up on the latest news from the premier league. Christian was always ready to help others when asked and was a mentor to many people in both his professional and personal life. He is survived by his 2 sons, Eric and Alek Carlsen, his parents, his sister, and his nieces and nephew. Friends and family are invited to attend the service on 03/04/2026 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, please direct donations to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
