Amanda Jaqulyn Ahlschier, of Hurst, Texas, passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at the age of 42.
Amanda was born on July 16, 1983, in Houston, Texas to Mirtha and Tom Ahlschier.
She was raised in Houston, Texas where she attended Oak Forest Elementary, F.M. Black Middle School, and S. P. Waltrip High School. She then moved to Hurst Texas with her family in 2007, where she remained until her passing.
Daughter of Tom and Mirtha, she was deeply loved, cherished, and nurtured throughout her life. From childhood into adulthood, they shared countless memories and an unbreakable bond of unconditional love that will forever remain in our hearts until we are reunited again. She held a special place in the heart of her brother, Chris, who adored her deeply. Above all, she was a very loving and caring mother to her two children, Thomas and Emily. The love they shared with her was immense, as was the love she so fully gave in return.
She was a loyal friend to many, and everyone always thought of her as a free spirit who loved making people laugh, always seeing the good in others. They always remembered her beautiful smile.
Amanda is survived by her parents, Mirtha and Tom Ahlschier; brother, Chris Ahlschier; children, Thomas and Emily Vazquez; grandmother, multiple aunts, uncles, and cousins; numerous other extended family members and loving friends.
In lieu of flowers, please keep Jackie and her family in your prayers.
Revelations 21:4
“And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”
