Valerie Sprenger

Valerie Sprenger, 46 of Ft. Worth, passed away Wednesday, September 1, 2021 in a Ft. Worth hospital after a brief illness.  She was born December 26, 1974 in San Juan Puerto, Rico. Valerie was the middle of 3 children, born to Victor and Sonia Rodriguez. 

The family moved to Texas in June of 1983.   Valerie grew up in the city of Hurst where she graduated from L.D. Bell High School. She worked for Delta Airlines just like her father, Victor, and stayed there for 13 years before moving on to her career at Walmart where she worked for 16 years. Thad and Valerie married in November 2004 in a small chapel in the Stockyards in Ft. Worth Texas.

Valerie’s passing leaves a huge void that we are not sure can ever be filled.  Those that knew her and loved her will always remember and hold all the special moments shared close to their hearts.

Valerie is survived by her husband, Thad; her son John Armstrong; her daughters, Natalia Sprenger and Isabelle Sprenger; her mother and father, Sonia and Victor Rodriguez; her sister, Vivian Rodriguez; her brother, Victor “Tito” Rodriguez; her sister-in-law, Lisa Kelly Rodriguez; her nieces’, Tori and Lexi Rodriguez; her aunts, Liza and Pittie Rodriguez and also by her cousins, Alex Hernandez, Annie Hernandez Hendrix, Michael McGonagle and Michelle McGonagle Knoerline.

A service to celebrate Valerie’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 25, 2021 at the Wellspring Church, 7300 Smithfield Road, North Richland Hills, Texas.
