Theresa Foreman Alexander, 60, of Grand Prairie TX. Passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2022, at Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital with family by her side.

Theresa was born in Dallas to Jackie and Joey Foreman and raised in Duncanville, TX. At an early age, Theresa discovered her love of dance and caring for others.

Theresa attended Duncanville High School, where she met the love of her life, Leo Alexander. Theresa attended Texas Woman's University, where she majored in Dance and Education. Her degree allowed her to pursue a career where she could educate others to realize their dreams and life goals as a Dallas teacher for 25 years.

Theresa married her high school sweetheart, Leo Alexander at the Greek Orthodox Church in Dallas. Together they were very involved in their faith and community.

Theresa saw her faith as another opportunity to serve by teaching Sunday school for 25 years. Theresa also served as President of the St Irene Philoptochos Society for 2 years. The society’s mission is to help the poor, the sick, the unemployed, the orphaned, the widowed, and the handicapped; and to assist anyone who may need the help of the Church through fundraising efforts. Theresa will be remembered by her family and friends as being a loving wife, sister and aunt who spent her time on this earth educating and serving those in need.

Theresa is survived by husband Leo G. Alexander Jr., sister Karen Foreman Wavada (Skip), brother Chris Foreman (Rosemary), niece Lauren Foreman Delay, nephews John Wavada IV, Joshua Wavada and Jordan Foreman. Aunt Linda Foreman Pollard (Ed). Great nieces and nephew Darla Wavada, Jacqueline and Evan Hodan. Mother-in-law Stella Alexander. Sister-in-law Rebecca Alexander Holder. Cousins Michael Pollard (Alania) and Rebecca Pollard Decker (Jimmie).

The family is grateful to the staff at Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital, Mountain Creek Retirement Center, Saint John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church, and especially grateful to close friends Patti and David Martin for their love and support.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers we honor Theresa’s love of faith and service by making contributions to Saint John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church in her name.

Viewing will be on Thursday, December 22nd at 6:00 pm at Saint John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church located at 303 Cullum Dr, Euless, Texas 76040.

Funeral service will be held Friday, December 23rd at 10:00 am at Saint John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church.

Graveside service to follow at Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home located at 7405 W Northwest Hwy, Dallas, TX 75225.
