Shaniqua Tazia Joy "Nikki" Cowie was born on February 27, 1991 to Pepito Cowie and Myshia Massey in Staten Island Hospital, New York City, NY. She transitioned from this life September 14, 2025 in Fort Worth, TX.
Nikki graduated from Lamar High in Arlington TX, 2008. She was employed by American Airline as a Flight Attendant from June 2015 until her passing.
Shaniqua loved family and friends, and was the life of the party. She knew how to brighten the day. She fought a tough fight and will be truly missed.
Nikki is preceded in death by her grandmother, Angela Sinclair; grandfather, Henry John Cowie; great grandparents, Wilfred and Violet Sinclair.
Remaining to cherish her memories are her parents, Jeffrey and Myshia Massey, Pepito Cowie and Anthony Baynes; siblings, Janiyah, Sarai, Mia, Jayden, and Ezekiel; grandparents, Monica & Renford Hall, Conrad & Michelle Blenman and Patrick Thompson; goddaughter, Layla Blue; uncles, Derek Blenman, Dave Cowie, Devon Cowie, Ricardo Cowie; aunts, Brieann Peele, Christina Blue, Shana Barnes, Dr. SheriAnn Cowie; cousins and other relatives and friends.
