Sarah Una Peck, 92 of Colleyville, passed away Sunday, July 26, 2020 in Grapevine. Una was born in Brownsville TX and she lived there for 86 years until she moved to Dallas in 2014.
Una graduated from Brownsville High School in 1945. She worked for Munoz Flooring from 1960 to 1990 as an interior decorator. She was a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Brownsville, Texas and served as a Eucharistic Minister and Pre-Cana Instructor. Una was a true sports enthusiast. She loved the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers, Houston Astros, and she loved watching golf! Una was known for her amazing cooking and the beautiful way she decorated Easter eggs. When she retired, Una enjoyed traveling, spending time with her children and her grandchildren. Una was truly loved and will be greatly missed.
Una was the very proud mother of 6 wonderful children, 8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and 4 sweet grand dogs.
She is survived by her children, Linda (Donald) Bendure, Colleyville TX, Sandra Peck, McAllen, TX, Mary Anne (Mike) Dimmel, Coppell, TX, William (Kimberly) Langley Peck II, Arlington, TX, Margaret (Lynn) Eschete, Arlington, TX, and Resa Peck, Dallas, TX; her grandchildren, Michael Miller, McAllen, TX, Michelle Miller, McAllen, TX, Erin (Charles) Henkel, Houston, TX, Mitchell (Anna) Peck, Dallas, TX, Matthew Eschete, Arlington, TX, Nicolas Dimmel, Dallas, TX, Raegan Peck, Dallas, TX, and Angela Eschete, Arlington, TX; her great grandchildren, Cora Henkel, Houston, TX, Charles Henkel Jr., Houston TX.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, William Langley Peck; also, by her siblings, Ida Marquez, Sylvia Buck, Roy Orason, Jerry Orason, and Joseph Donald Orason.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 8, 2020 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 1000 Tinker Road, Colleyville, Texas. Her final resting place will be at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Brownsville, Texas.
