Ronald Arthur Schueneman

On February 23, 2021, our loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather peacefully passed away surrounded by family.

Ronald “Ron” Schueneman was born on March 30, 1941 in Chicago, Illinois. He graduated from Bradley University.

Ron grew up in the food industry as a young boy which led him to a career in food sales. That career brought Ron and his family to Texas in 1976. After many years of traveling for his career, he opened up Benny’s Bagels in Hurst, November 1997 in which he retired from in December 2003.

Ron was always a hardworking man but when he wasn’t working he enjoyed all sports, especially his beloved Chicago Bears and Cubs. He also could be found on a golf course and enjoyed working in his yard.

Ron is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Esther and his loving daughter Kristin Larson. He leaves behind his loving wife, Nancy; daughters Terri Hopper and Traci and Steve Klein; eight grandchildren, Justin Clawson, Kelsey Larson, Madison Hopper, Garrett Hopper, Amanda Klein, Jordan Klein, Taylor Klein and Preston Klein; plus three special great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Friday, March 12th at 2:00 pm at Forest Ridge Funeral Home in North Richland Hills. The service will also be livestreamed for those who are unable to attend in person. The link to view  the livestream is https://www.facebook.com/207691985974899/
