Rochelle Ross Obituary

Rochelle Noga Ross, 56, of Bedford, Texas, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Rochelle was a force of nature born on March 29, 1967, in Pueblo, Colorado. Growing up in Walsenburg, Colorado, Rochelle was, unsurprisingly, a bright and cheerful kid who loved 4H, cheerleading, music, sports, church, and organizing her room.

After graduation from Fairview High School in Boulder, Colorado, Rochelle went on to cheer for the University of Kentucky before graduating from the University of Texas at Arlington with a BFA in Theater Arts.

There are four things that Rochelle was most passionate about: her family, her friends, her community, and Disney!

Rochelle married the love of her life, Tommy Ross, on October 2, 2003, and shared three wonderful children: Katrina, Thomas, and Nico. She was completely devoted to her family, and they always came first. She was their biggest fan and cheerleader and their best friend and confidante. She was their mom.

Never doing anything halfway, after starting her organizing business, A Simplified Space, Rochelle quickly joined the HEB Chamber of Commerce. She found her niche on the Steering Committee for the HEB Leadership Program and chaired the Committee for years. Developing community leaders became her passion. Rochelle also loved serving as a trustee on HEB ISD School Board and spent hours advocating for students and staff. She loved reading to her “itty bitties,” the elementary kids, and mentoring through the KEYS mentor program. She also devoted her time to both 6Stones Mission Network and Mid Cities Women’s Clinic non-profit organizations. She particularly loved 6Stones Night of Hope.

Rochelle took her first trip to Disney at the age of seven and a love for all things Disney was born. She collected Disney memorabilia and visited the parks whenever she could, making the happiest place on Earth even happier when she was there. That is what Rochelle did; she spread light and joy just by being in the room. We’ve all felt it.

She is survived by her husband, Tommy Ross; her daughter, Katrina Ramos; her sons, Thomas Ross and Nico Ross; her brother, Rodney Noga, her sister Ashley Partin, and her mother, Valerie Tesitor.

Rochelle was a beautiful soul who loved hard and big. She touched so many with her fierce love and encompassing kindness, generosity, and faith. She will be greatly missed and forever remembered.

The viewing will be held at Forest Ridge Funeral Home Memorial Park Chapel on Friday, February 2 from 4-8 p.m. The funeral will take place at Good Shepherd Catholic Community in Colleyville at 11 a.m. followed by graveside services at Bear Creek Cemetery in Euless. A Rochelle-worthy celebration will follow at the Buinger CTE Academy in Bedford on Saturday at 2:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Rochelle Ross Scholarship Fund, which will be awarded to students from her beloved KEYS High School. Donations can be made through Venmo @Rochelle-Scholarship.

Friends and family have shared their relationship to show their support.
