Raymond Wayne Cox, age 82, passed away surrounded by family on January 26, 2023. He was the son of Chris and Mildred Cox. He was born in Coleman County, TX. He was married to Mary Jo Clemons from 1959 to 1992.  They raised four children together. He married Mary Jo Stubblefield Cox in 1995. Wayne drove a truck for Merchants Fast Motor Line for 35 years with over 3 million safe driving miles. He was the president of the Union of Transportation Employees for 6 years. After Merchants closed, he drove for 10 years at Best Way before retiring. He was preceded in death by his parents, niece, step-daughter and great-grandson. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Jo Cox, Brother- Roy and Henrietta Cox, son- Ricky  and Kellie Cox. daughters - Debbie Cory, Lea Ann and Carl Hopkins, Darla and Chris Palin, stepson - David and Robin Stubblefield, stepdaughter - Kathy Saenz, 11 grandkids, 15 great-grandkids, niece - Christi Hickman & family and his best friend Sheba. 

Visitation will be at Forest Ridge Funeral Home in North Richland Hills on February 10th from 5-7 pm. Funeral will be at Calvary Lutheran Church in Richland Hills on February 11th at 11 am.
