Patricia Ann Beam

Patricia Ann Beam, 86, entered the kingdom of heaven on April 20, 2023.  Patricia was born on March 17, 1937 in Waco, Texas to Albert (Jack) and Lottie Kirkland. 

Patricia married Ronald L. Beam on November 22, 1957 and they recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary.  Patricia is survived by her husband; her five children:  Christie Steblein (Rick), Rae Ann Dutton, Ronnie (Renee), Kevin and Rusty (Laura); 27 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.  Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Jackie Kirkland, grandson Maddox Beam and great-grandson Boston Welborn.

Patricia was born and raised in Waco, Texas and graduated from Waco High School in 1955.  Patricia and Ron (an Air Force Pilot), moved often until his retirement from the Air Force brought him to Hurst, Texas in 1970.  Patricia and Ron lived in Japan, Ft. Walton Beach, Florida, Simi Valley, California and in Laredo, Sherman and Waco, Texas before settling in Hurst.

Patricia will be remembered for her Faith, love of family and amazing sewing skills.  As the mom to five children, Patricia spent her time managing a busy household and making sure a relationship with Christ was a priority for her family.   She was a taxi service to so many activities:  practices and ballgames, attending school and band activities, and church events.  She was delighted to also attend many events for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Patricia loved to travel-by car, and took many trips with Ron to visit family members, spring baseball training, historical sites and especially enjoyed her trips to Branson, Missouri with niece Donna Rorick and her husband, Fred.
