Pat McBee

Pat was born at home on November 10, 1935, in Fort Worth, TX.

He died November 6, 2023, just 4 days shy of his 88th birthday.

Pat was the son of Owen and Gertrude McBee and younger brother to Ron. He graduated from Northside High School in 1954 and then graduated from North Texas State College. He married Barbara McGee in 1958.

Pat retired from Farmers Insurance Group after 30 years of service.

Pat was always involved in sports, playing golf and tennis in his younger years. His home usually had a pool table. He was a football official for 49 years. In later life, he enjoyed country and ballroom dancing as well as bowling.

After retirement, he and Barbara travelled extensively, visiting all the continents. Pat's favorite was a 10-day visit to Morocco.

Pat is preceded in death by his parents, brother Ron, son David, and niece Les Ann. 

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Barbara, daughter Anne (Brad), nephews Kelly (Carolyn) and Clay (Randy).
