Left behind to cherish her memory are her son James Michael Schou of Haltom city, daughters Kelly Georgette Cave of Fort Worth and Kathryn Welch and husband Fleeton of Haltom City, grandchildren Melinda Jo Elliott and husband Russell, Chelsea Lauren Kerestine and husband Phillip and Samantha Kelly Welch and great-grandchildren Abigail Elliott and Lucas Kerestine. Melinda is preceded in death by her former husband Joe Ewing and brother Michael James and her parents Milton and Kathryn James.
