Martha Parham Huff, of Chickamauga, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at the age of 88 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Martha was a cherished member of her community and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, great-grandmother and friend known for her warm and nurturing spirit.

Martha was born on November 18, 1937, in Oxford, North Carolina to Mary Baxter Bell Parham and James Lewis Parham.

She retired after many years of service to the Department of Energy, where she contributed significantly to her field. She was a member for many years at First Baptist Church of Hurst while living in Texas. She continued to participate online via her iPad even after moving. In her free time, she had a passion for volunteering. For many years she worked with Twice Blessed and NEED, always eager to lend a helping hand. Martha also cherished spending time with her family, whom she loved deeply.

Martha is preceded in death by her loving husband of 48 years, Leroy Huff; sister, Patricia; and her parents, James and Mary Parham.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter, Dianna Ratliff and husband, David; grandchildren, Bradlee Huff, Bailey Roberts-Feathers (Will), Michael Roberts (Marlee), Zachary Roberts; great-grandson, Clayton Taylor Huff; nieces, Carol Evrard, Darlene Danzig; nephews, Jimmy Williams, David Frecker; and many loving friends. 

A visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00am Saturday, July 11, 2026, at First Baptist Church of Hurst with a funeral service beginning at 11:00am. 1801 Norwood Dr, Hurst, TX 76054
Her graveside service will be held at 10:00am Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211. If you are attending services at the cemetery, please be lined up in our designated lane no later than 9:45am.
