Martha Betancourt, a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2025, at the age of 89. 

Born on August 6, 1935, in Tampico, Tamaulipas Mexico, Martha’s life was defined by her unwavering love for her family and her deep sense of kindness and compassion toward others. Martha was known for her warmth, generosity, and strong spirit. She had a remarkable ability to make everyone around her feel welcomed and loved. Whether it was through her home-cooked meals, her gentle words of encouragement, or simply her presence, Martha’s influence touched the lives of all who knew her. 

She is survived by her three daughters and son in law, Patricia, Rosie, Rocio, and Paul, her six grandchildren, Adam, Patricia, JJ, Myra, Christina, and Michael.  Her great-grandchildren Vanessa, Natalie, AJ, Emily, CJ, Sophia, Haley, Maya, and extended family Freddy, Greg and Sonny. Martha’s legacy will live on in the hearts of those who were lucky enough to share in her life, and she will be greatly missed.

 A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00pm Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at Forest Ridge Funeral Home. A funeral service to honor her life will be held on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Forest Ridge Funeral Home, 8524 Mid Cities Blvd, North Richland Hills, Tx, 76182, (817-428-9500) with a procession to follow for burial at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park 5725 Colleyville Blvd, Colleyville, TX 76034.”
