Marina Hill Smith

Marina Hill Smith, 86 passed away on Monday, October 12, 2020 in Bedford, Texas. She was born on September 29, 1934 in Wolverhampton, England to William and Hilda Hill. 
She was a loving sister, mother, grandmother and friend to many.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her lovely husband Billy Gene Smith and two brothers Morris and John Hill.
She is survived by her brother William (Jan) Hill, sister Veronica (Peter) Downs, two daughters, Tracie (Willie) Cox and Desiree (Robert Maher) Venezie and her three grandchildren; Collin Schultz, Victoria (Matthew) Grubish and Christian Mercado.

In the UK senior schools, Marina was the captain of her netball (basketball) and swimming team. Her early years of employment were at Wolverhampton telephone exchange and Brown Brothers accounts department with her mom. She met the love of her life Billy, while he was in the UK with the military in the 50s. She flew back to the US with Billy and married him shortly after. She loved to cook for everyone, whomever showed up. But she also loved food herself. When she had time she enjoyed to knit. Marina had a heart of gold and loved all of those she knew.
