Margaret Ann (Chafin) Kaprelian

Margaret Ann Kaprelian took the next step in her journey on Friday May 21, 2021 and is now in the loving arms of her lord and savior Jesus Christ. Margaret was born December 21, 1947 in War, West Virginia the first child of Lora Mae and Junior Chafin. Growing up a coal miner’s daughter was difficult, early hardship did not deter, yet molded her into the strong, loving, compassionate woman she became. When Margaret tragically lost her father at the age of ten, James JD Summers stepped in to fill an unfillable void and became the man she would call dad. She met her loving husband Karl on a last-minute blind date. After a long and winding courtship lasting the better part of a week they knew what everyone else figured out over their 50+ years of marriage. Together they raised children, grandchildren, and anyone who needed a place to stay for a night, a year, or anywhere in between. Margaret’s generosity was without limitation or expectation. She never met a person that she believed was beyond help or not worth the effort, and through her generosity made bonds that will far outlast her time here on Earth. Margaret enjoyed simple pleasures like; a good book, taking joy in the laughter of a grandchild, loving without limitation. Her passing leaves a void that will be difficult to navigate but memories that will be a blessing forever. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Karl, her mother, father, step-father, and brother Jerry. Margaret is survived by son Michael Kaprelian(Kristy) of Lewisville, Texas. Daughter Laura Vaughn(Micah) of Orlando, Florida. Son Sean Kaprelian(Katie) of North Richland Hills Texas. Daughter Hannah Brown of Texarkana, Texas. Numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers, sisters, and friends too numerous to count.
