Linda Jean Cheek, 71 of Hurst, Texas passed away Sunday, August 9, 2020. She was born Sunday August 22, 1948 in Bennington, Oklahoma.
Linda had a love for animals, telling stories and all things western. She loved spending time at the horse lot riding her horses. She took pride in raisin’ livestock, and tilling a peanut field or two in her early years. She also spent many years training dogs and greatly enjoyed seeing her student’s success. She always had a good story or two to tell and man did she love sharing those stories with all those grand kids. Linda was known far and wide for her “cooking out of the kitchen” meals. Some of you may have had that tamale pie.
