L. Raydeane Ambrose, 83, Loving Wife, Mother, Sister, Grandmother and Great Grandmother, passed away of natural causes in her home, on February 8, 2022.
Visitation: Monday, Feb 14, 2022, 5:00pm – 7:00pm at Forest Ridge Funeral Home, 8525 Mid Cities Blvd, North Richland Hills, TX.
Burial: Tuesday, Feb 15, 2022, 11:00am at Smithfield Cemetery, North Richland Hills, TX
Raydeane was born October 28, 1938, to Bill & Frances Henken in Kansas City, MO. After graduating from Polytechnic High School in Fort Worth, TX, she went on to study nursing at Texas Christian University.
While attending high school, she met Ronald Ambrose whom she would marry in 1959 and enjoy 44 years together. During their marriage, they had 3 children: Pamela, Ronald Jr. and Deborah.
Raydeane worked at the City of Euless as Utility Billing Manager until she retired after 30 years of dedicated service. After retiring, she enjoyed traveling with her husband Ronald, in their motor home, camping with friends, and gardening as well as many gatherings and BBQs with family and friends at the home she shared with her husband. Raydeane will always be remembered for her loving smile and caring heart. Those that met her were overwhelmed by her kindness and compassion for others.
Raydeane was preceeded in death by her husband, Ronald L. Ambrose, her father, William H Henken II, and her mother, Frances Rae Henken. She is survived by her children, Pamela L Michalik of White Settlement, TX, Ronald L Ambrose Jr. and his wife Jackie of Haslet, TX, Deborah D Schuman of Bedford, TX; five grandchildren, John A Michalik Jr., Rebekah D Boyer, Evan T Ambrose, Lacie R Ambrose, Brytani D Schuman, one great grandchild, Grayson George Flem; sister Judith Rubarth of Plano; brother William Henken III and his wife Carolyn of Burleson,TX. All of whom she enjoyed and dearly loved.
