Kerry Donald Alford aka. Jimmy “Reb”Stewart, 81, Of Bedford, Texas

passed April 3rd, 2020 In Keller, Texas due to complications of Dementia and Alzheimers.

Kerry was born: March 2nd, 1939 to parents: Don and Evelyn Alford. Kerry married Nancy on August 4th, 1971 in (Fort Worth, Texas).  Kerry worked as the radio personality of Jimmy “Reb”Stewart for WBAP 820am and KSCS 96.3fm.  An original of “The Country Gold Gang.” The Best Voice in Morning Radio “D” Magazine, Jimmy Stewart, was a true gem...He had a great voice and a great sense of communication with the listener.  His "820 Memory Lane" was most always a keeper.  Kerry enjoyed pulling his 5th wheel around the country with his wife and dogs, reading his Louis L’Amour (among others) books, watching John Wayne movies, and of course listening to his music.

Kerry is survived by his loving wife Wife: Nancy Alford (Bedford Texas), Son: Eric “Ricky” Donald Alford (Fort Worth, Texas) Son: Christopher Lee Alford sp. Jami (Haslet, Texas), Grandsons: Garrett Alford and Parker Alford, Daughter: Catherine D’Lee DuPriest sp. Dan (Keller, Texas), Grandson: Justin DuPriest sp. Bre (Saginaw, Texas), Granddaughter: Emily Furche sp. Collin (Flower Mound, Texas), Son: Larry Scott Alford sp. LeAnne (Fort Worth, Texas), Granddaughter: Courtney Sherman sp. Craig (Charlotte, North Carolina), Great-Granddaughter: Amelia, Granddaughter: Shelby Alford (Kilgore, Texas) Great Granddaughter: Elena and Brother: Bill Alford sp. Joan (Indiana),  lots of loving Nieces, Nephews, extended family, those we’ve always considered family and adoring Radio fans!

           Kerry was preceded in death by his parents Don and Evelyn Alford.
