Kathy Ann Medina

On the morning of August 11th, 2020, Kathy Ann Medina passed away after a two year battle with stromal sarcoma. She was home and comforted by her family every step of the way. She was 60 years old.

Visitation will be held Saturday, August 15, 4pm to 7pm.

Funeral Service will be held Sunday, August 16, 5pm at Forest Ridge Memorial Park, 8525 Mid Cities Blvd. North Richland Hills, Texas 76182.

She was born in Dallas, Texas on March 3, 1960 where she lived most of her life. At a young age, she met Carla Espinosa, who would become her best friend of over 50 years. She was a loving wife, mother, friend, dog mom, and so much more to many people.

Kathy was preceded in death by: mother, Betty Kile (Connerton); father, Z.B. Kile; brother, Mike Kile; granddaughter, Vanessa Garcia; and son-in-law, Trey Caraway.

She is survived by: husband, Domingo Medina; best friend, Carla Espinosa; oldest son, Fernando Garcia; daughter, Brandy Ozuna-Caraway; youngest son, John Wesley Winfrey Jr.; oldest grandson, Alonzo Garcia; youngest grandson, Conner Caraway; and dog Lil Bit.

Other survivors include: Lisa Garcia, Tony Garcia, Victoria Winfrey, Carla's children Rachel, Alex, and Gabby, Domingo's brothers Rey and David, and granddog, Iggy.

Her favorite hobbies included arts and crafts, vacationing to foodie destinations like the Riverwalk in San Antonio, and getting out to the casino whenever they could.
