Born in Kilgore, Texas on February 20, 1945, to Johnny E and Lorena Kelley, Johnny began what could be described as a true "A game". Before graduating from Kilgore High School in 1963, Johnny enjoyed several years playing Saxophone in the school band. After high school he went on to Kilgore Junior College and attended Stephen F. He may have been born to golf, but as a practical thinker he knew work would be required to reach the success he strived for. Johnny leveraged his natural talents to make his mark on the business world through sales. His ability to balance a competitive approach with strong people skills made him a coveted salesman. Johnny was a valued employee of great companies such a Gibson's, Casio, IVCSR AND VLC Distribution. He partnered with these companies to build strong relationships with vendors, companies, customers and other employees to achieve a very successful work life.
He managed to make time for family, travel and golf while working, after retirement in 2014, Johnny was able to add more tee times and enjoyed frequent travel including winter months at River Bend in Brownsville, Tx He enjoyed laughs, good fun with friends and neighbors.
Johnny is survived by his wife Vickie, whom he enjoyed 40 glorious years of marriage.
