Johnathon “Papa/Uncle Johnny” Frank Kestler of North Richland Hills, age 74 returned to his heavenly home to be with his Lord and Savior on January 18, 2021. Johnny was a devoted husband, a loving father, a caring brother and uncle and a doting PaPa to his granchildren and great-grandchildren.
Johnny spent his entire life ensuring his family was happy. Anyone who was around him knew of his generosity, work ethic, selflessness and profound love for his Savior and his family. While Johnny was happiest when surrounded by his family, he also found great joy in beating his friends at the game of 42.
Johnny escorted his daughter, Melissa Allen, to heaven the day following his death. He is preceded in death by his wife, Pat Kestler, his father, Clyde Kestler, and mother Margaret Saboda. He is survived by his brother, Carl Kestler, Son in law, Stan Allen, Granddaughters, Johnna (Bryan) Geiger and Jerrica (Chaz) Kidwell, Niece Kimberly (Chris) Tyner great granddaughters Abryelle Kidwell and Annabelle Geiger, Great grandson Dax Kidwell and niece and nephew Kindall and Colton Tyner. He has many other family members and friends whom he cherished.
Johnny shared good humor, the love of Christ, the order to always put “safety first” and a big smile with everyone he met. Papa will be missed dearly.
