Jennifer Michelle McCartan

Jennifer “Jenn” Michelle McCartan, 46 of Watauga, TX, passed away surrounded by her loved ones on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 after a brief and courageous battle with cancer.  Jenn was born in Landstuhl, Germany on May 26, 1976 to John and Patricia McCartan. She grew up in Pittsburgh, PA and was a 1994 graduate of Oliver High School. Even after living in Texas for over twenty years, Jenn always called Pittsburgh “home.” Pittsburgh always held a special place in her heart. Jenn was a strong and intelligent woman who faced many challenges in her life with courage.

Jenn is survived by her loving husband, Michael Carrier and her children, Buddy (Courtney) Devos, Caitlyn McCartan, and Cynthia Burt. Jenn is also survived by and will be lovingly remembered by her mother, Patricia McCartan; sister, Kristen Levell; brother, John McCartan Jr.; three grandchildren, Ainsley, Morris and Killian Devos; many aunts, uncles, nieces and cousins. In addition to her relatives, Jenn leaves behind a large number of friends that she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her father John McCartan Sr., brother William Robert McCartan and grandparents Joseph and Florence McCartan and Romaine and Edwin Block. 

Funeral Mass will be held on Monday January 16, 2023 at 10:00am at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church. Located at 7421 Glenview Drive North Richland Hills, Texas 76180. The family sincerely appreciates your love and support during this difficult time.
