Jason Crawley Obituary

In Loving Memory of Jason Keith Crawley

Jason Keith Crawley passed away on September 28th, 2023, at the age of 40 surrounded by his adoring family. Jason was born on February 23rd, 1983, to Keith and Patti Crawley of Amarillo, Texas.  As a child, Jason was a beacon of fun and spirit. He found joy in playing video games and delighted in wearing costumes while dancing in the street. His love for spending time with friends was infectious, and his warm smile, blue eyes, and gentle disposition could light up any room.

Jason's educational journey was one of dedication and accomplishment. He graduated from Amarillo High School in 2001 and pursued higher education at Texas Tech University, where he earned his master's degree in environmental engineering. This academic success paved the way for a fulfilling 15-year career at Freese and Nichols Inc., where Jason was not only deeply respected but genuinely adored. His leadership skills, exceptional communication abilities, and unwaveringly positive attitude left an enduring mark within his workplace.

Beyond his professional life, Jason found solace in the simple pleasures of life. He was an avid listener of podcasts, a skilled creator of home-brewed coffee, and a music enthusiast. Jason had a passion for attending concerts, creating digital artwork, and he loved cheering on the Red Raiders. Most importantly, he reveled in the warmth of his family, cherishing moments spent with his beloved wife, Carly, and his beautiful daughters, Kennedy and Reagan, along with their loyal dog, Scooter.

Jason was preceded in death by his “Nemaw”, “Papaw”, and Grandfather Don Clark, a man whose values and influence played a role in shaping the remarkable person he became. Jason's legacy lives on through his loving family. He is survived by his devoted wife, Carly, and his beloved daughters, Kennedy and Reagan. He leaves behind his loving parents, Keith and Patti Crawley, his sister, Whitney Griffith, and her husband, Nathan, his grandmother Toney Clark, as well as his niece Penny, and nephew, Alden.

A memorial service in honor of Jason will take place at Forest Ridge Funeral Home, located at 8525 Mid Cities Blvd, North Richland Hills, on Friday, October 6th. A viewing will be held at 10:00 AM with the service scheduled to commence at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that you consider making a donation to the Salvation Army.
