James Milligan, Jr. Obituary

James F. Milligan, Jr., was born to James (Jim) F. Milligan, Sr. and Elizabeth Jane Milligan on January 23, 1972 in Ft. Worth Tx.  He passed away May 30, 2020.

He was Preceded in death by his grandparents, Raymond A. Bridwell & Doris Bridwell; as well as his father, James (Jim) Milligan.

He is survived by his daughter, Regan Milligan of Haltom City; his mother, Jane Milligan of Haltom City; his aunt, Doris Bridwell of Haltom City; his brother, Ray Milligan and wife, Marsha Milligan of Orange TX; his sister, Cindy Roschke and husband, Joel Roschke of Vidor TX; also by his girlfriend, Audrea Dyer; and his three nieces and four nephews; and many close friends

Chip had a love and talent for music.  While attending Birdville Elementary School, he enrolled in band.  He learned to play the cornet.  He continued participating in band while attending North Oaks Junior High and Haltom High School.  He was a member of PSHSH – Pride of Haltom Senior High marching band.

Leaving Haltom High School, he acquired his GED.  Later he graduated from ATI – American Technical Institute with a degree in HVAC in 2011.

His last job was with Accent Electric as an apprentice looking forward to becoming a journeyman.  He thoroughly enjoyed his job.

His love for sports included several years of Haltom City Little League baseball, playing in the outfield position and catcher.  As an adult, he aspired to become a skydiver, having accomplished that goal twice.  He was an avid fan of watching football, wearing his Alabama cap and tee-shirt supporting the team.  He also backed the Steelers.

His compassion for others was expressed through many acts of kindness by reaching out to help others meet their needs when possible. He was a lover of practical jokes and magic tricks. His ultimate expression of compassion was his decision to be an organ donor by helping others to move forward with their lives.

He will be missed and continually loved by so many who knew him and loved him.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 19, 2020 at the Forest Ridge Funeral Home Memorial Park Chapel.
